About
Mission
Reg’Art is an independent magazine and curatorial space dedicated to contemporary African art. Rooted in Kinshasa, it develops a sovereign visual thinking and builds a reference archive of the major figures of Africa and its diasporas. Reg’Art does not comment on art: it documents its memory and its authority.
Perspective
Our point of view is situated, and that is a method: looking at works from Lagos, Nairobi or the diaspora with the questions of the Kinshasa scene, and recalling that the centres of art cannot be decreed.
