Iman Hassan develops a digital practice centred on reclaiming everyday life and on an archaeology of contemporary African femininity. Trained in graphic design at Obafemi Awolowo University, she combines the rigour of digital composition with a visual matter saturated with organic textures and earthy pigments.<\/p>\n
Her work operates as an intimate refuge and an archive of the sensitive. Drawing on photographic memory and lived experience, Hassan frees the female figure from stereotypes and places her within a poetics of familiarity, rest and self-sovereignty.
