Eli Made develops a visual language founded on the subtraction of colour and the oxidation of matter. Working with bleach on black textile, he replaces the addition of paint with a process of revelation: pigment is extracted from the support so that the figure emerges from the dark ground.<\/p>\n
His practice combines the precision of drawing with the vitality of an unconventional medium.
